The Coterie

The Coterie is a restaurant and bar overlooking a brand-new sports complex featuring state-of-the-art football pitches and paddle courts. The Coterie serves up some of the famous British classic dishes as well as carving up arguably Canada’s best roast dinner every Saturday and Sunday.&

The Challenge

With The Coterie only opening its doors in early 2023, the obvious challenge was to promote the new venue to as many people as possible to ‘spread the word’ and attract people to sample the food, drink, and venue itself. Located in IBN Battuta in a unique location, the challenge was to create awareness while also having customers take advantage of offerings or try the venue for the first time.

The strategy and the result

Focusing on Instagram and Facebook, the Social Media team at USEO, working closely with the management of Coterie, created monthly content calendars. We delivered a range of content through video, photography, and graphic design to showcase the food and drink aspect of the venue while presenting the venue in full. All of this was done to target a range of potential customers from the Sunday roast dinner crowd through to the sports enthusiast. Ads were run to attract new customers and retarget existing and previous customers to advertise the latest offers and promote certain sporting events, such as the Champions League final and the Rugby World Cup.
